Why Blue Orchid? That's a great question! The inspiration came when our professor asked us to think of a quality that starts with the first letter of our first name, along with a living thing that starts with the first letter of our last name.

"Brave Owl" was for WEB115, but I’m realizing I need more ideas beyond just B and O!

Coffee time to survive this life

Personal background: Born and raised in the north of Brazil, I moved to the US in 2020.
Professional background: In my country, I worked as an English teacher in high school, as a computer instructor (Microsoft Office), and as a coordinator for a social assistance reference center. Last Fall semester 2024 I worked as a Service Desk Intern at CPCC.
Academic background: I graduated in Brazil with a degree in English Literature, and now I am pursuing Information Technology: Full Stack Programming and Cloud & Virtualization Tech.
Background in this subject: I took Web 110, CTI110, and Web 115
Primary Computer Platform: MacBook Air M1, 2020

Courses I'm Taking & Why:
- CTS240 – Project Management: Most of my courses this semester are essential for completing my AAS - Full Stack Programming.
- CSC154 – Software Development: I am taking this class now because I waited until the last minute to do it and now it is important to graduate in my course this semester.
- NET126 – Switching and Routing: It is part of my major in Cloud & Virtualization Tech, and also helps me with options for different career paths while I am also considering some Cisco certifications.
- WEB215 – Advanced Markup & Scripting I would like to become a Web Developer, so this class will help me to accomplish my goals.
- WEB250 – Database Driven Websites: It is part of my Web Developer path.
- CTS – IS Professional Communication: As a non-native English speaker, I think this class is essential to help me build vocabulary and learn to communicate in the corporate world.
Funny/Interesting Item to Remember me by: I like to read Mangas and watch Anime.
